Oppo finally launched it’s first folding phone “Oppo Find N2 Flip”

The foldable phone from Oppo is now launched worldwide! On February 15, the Oppo Find N2 Flip was introduced, the first clamshell folding phone, to overseas consumers. The phone directly compete with Samsung’s Z Flip range, the Motorola Razr 2022, and other models. Design and Display

The Oppo Find N2 Flip is the brand’s first folding phone that folds like a clamshell and has a sizable 3.2″ cover OLED panel. The Find N2 Flip stands out from the competitors just based on size. But Oppo has taken things a step further by modifying ColorOS 13.0 to take advantage of the additional screen space. You may utilize the external screen to answer calls, view your schedule, and even send rapid replies using emoticons, bespoke messages, and voice-to-text transcription.

Inside, the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a larger 6.8-inch display. With a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, it has an FHD+ AMOLED display. Similar to the secondary screen, the primary panel incorporates Samsung’s Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) for protection and 100% of DCI-P3 color coverage.

The Dimensity 9000+ SoC from MediaTek powers the Oppo Find N2 Flip smartphone. The silicon has four Cortex-A510 (1.80GHz), three Cortex-A710 (2.85GHz), and one Cortex-X3 (3.2GHz) core. It is produced using a 4nm technology. Graphics processing is done by the Mali-G710 MC10 GPU.

Up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage have been combined with it. A dual-cell battery with a total capacity of 4,300mAh powers the Find N2 Flip. The battery life of flip phones has historically been a problem, but Oppo guarantees that it offers over 11 hours of offline video viewing. The phone, on the other hand, offers 44W rapid charging.

Camera

To the side of the external display are two cameras for photography. 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide sensors make up its rear camera configuration. The 32MP selfie camera is located in the center of the inside screen, through a punch-hole. Oppo claims that the Flip also features an in-house MariSilicon X imaging NPU for enhanced picture processing, as well as Hasselblad camera calibration.
