The MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core processor powers the iQOO Z7 5G. It has a total of 6GB and 8GB of RAM. A 4500mAh non-removable battery powers the iQOO Z7 5G, which runs Android 13.

IQOO Z7 5G Overview:
Design & Display
In addition, the display refreshes at a speed of 90Hz with a 360Hz touch sampling rate. In this price range, the competition typically provides 120Hz screens. The Moto G73 features an LCD panel, which gives the iQOO Z7 the advantage over it. Besides, the technical specifications, the iQOO Z7 features a fantastic display that generates brilliant colors when viewing Netflix and YouTube material. In addition, the gadget supports Wide line L1, which means you may stream movies and TV on OTT services at 1080p. Also, the display of the iQOO Z7 supports HDR and has a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. You can watch HDR content out of the box on Netflix. We watched a couple of episodes of Wednesday on exhibit, and our experience was good. If the color tuning doesn’t suit your taste, the iQOO gives a plethora of color presets to pick from in the settings.
Here, iQOO continues its obsession with rear panels that can change color and refract light. It’s not inherently a bad thing, and the iQOO Z7 is a wonderful example of that. The two available colors for the device are Pacific Night and Norway Blue; we chose the former, and it appears absolutely stunning with a light rays theme going on.
The matte-surfaced screen is made of high-quality plastic. It doesn’t feel inexpensive in any way, and it doesn’t attract fingerprint smudges either. The back camera module is a little wider than it was previously, but it doesn’t stick out all that much. In order to provide contrast, the LED flash is also situated on a long platform that is constructed of different materials. The iQOO Z7 appears more stylish and modern when compared to the equally priced Moto G73. The intended audience for iQOO is kids, who will surely enjoy this.
Camera
A 64-megapixel OIS primary camera with the Samsung GW3 sensor is one of two cameras on the back of the iQOO Z7. The same sensor can be seen on the iQOO Neo 7 (Review), which retails at Rs 30,000. It also contains a secondary 2-megapixel bokeh camera. A 16-megapixel camera is located in the waterdrop notch on the front of the device. The camera user interface resembles its older models pretty closely. Pictures collected during the day on our small trip to Manesar turned out amazing. The photographs featured good details, and the hues were fairly similar to natural. In some instances, the post-processing tends to overdo the greens. Nonetheless, every picture taken in good lighting was better than average. With the HDR option enabled, captures consisted of an acceptable dynamic range with highlights and shadows harmonized nicely.
We didn’t have many gripes with the camera output, except for a few occasions when the shots were a bit over-sharpened. Color science remains constant when it comes to human subjects with balanced skin tones and nothing over the top. Digitally zoomed photographs at 2x were also decent. Portrait mode featured good edge recognition with a fair quantity of bokeh.
Crisp and bright images were captured when the night setting was on. There was a little commotion, but there was occasionally glare from light sources. In relation to selfies, the camera struggles to focus when there are multiple people in the frame. However, the picture had natural skin tones and excellent details. Portrait mode is likewise helpful.
With the iQOO Z7, movies up to 4K 30fps can be recorded. You could choose between standard and ultra stabilization in 4K videos, and the stabilization was decent. Video captured at a frame rate of 60 fps cannot be visually stabilized. Although the dynamic range occasionally jumped, the colors and details in the videos were excellent.
Performance
Almost all the phones in their library cater to an audience that appreciates intense performance. The iQOO Z7 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, an octa-core processor manufactured on TSMC’s 6nm production process. The Xiaomi 11i Hyper Charge, Realme 9 Pro Plus, and other devices all used the same chipset. The Snapdragon 695 in the Poco X5 and the Dimensity 930 in the Moto G73 are some competitors for the Dimensity 920. According to the manufacturer, the iQOO Z7 performs about 18% better than its predecessor.
The iQOO Z7 5G has 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded by a microSD card (up to 1000GB) and runs Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. (up to 1000GB). The iQOO Z7 5G smartphone’s dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) slot accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The iQOO Z7 5G weighs 173 grams and has dimensions of 158.91 x 73.53 x 7.80mm (width x height x thickness). Norway Blue and Pacific Night were the colors used for the launch. Its body is made of plastic.
The iQOO Z7 5G offers Wi-Fi 802.11 , Bluetooth v5.20, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with compatibility for Band 40 used by select LTE networks in India), and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards as well as other connectivity choices. The phone has a fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, compass/magnetometer, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.
