OnePlus unveiled two new phones in the number series for the international market at the Cloud 11 event tonight. Since the premium OnePlus 11’s Chinese launch last month, we already know a lot about it, so today we will move our attention to the new 11R. To begin with, the Ace 2 is a phone that is exclusively sold in the Chinese market, while the OnePlus 11R is the global version of that device. It’s interesting to note that OnePlus unveiled the Ace 2 just hours before the Cloud 11 event where it was planning to reveal the 11R.
Design and Display
The design of the OnePlus 11R differs significantly from that of its predecessor in a number of important ways. The phone’s design has been totally updated by OnePlus to resemble the more costly OnePlus 11. The two phones share a lot of similarities, particularly the rear camera bulge. The edge of the circular metallic construction has a “flowing K-shaped light and shadow” pattern because it melds with the side frame.
