The Honor Pad X9a has a dual-tone finish and is only available in one shade of gray. The lower portion darkens slightly, while the upper portion is somewhat lighter. The “a” series includes a single camera module, whereas the Honor Pad X9 has a pilled-shaped camera island with two cameras. It features an 11.5-inch LCD screen on the front with 2,508 x 1,504 pixels of resolution. With a peak brightness of 400 nits and a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hz, the display is suitable for daily usage and media viewing.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 685 chipset powers the X9a, exactly as its predecessor. An octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A73 cores operating at 2.8 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores operating at up to 1.9 GHz is its feature. It has 8GB of RAM, which can be practically increased by an additional 8GB from the 128GB of storage. You can also find it running MagicOS 9.0 on Android 15.
The device is equipped with a large 8,300mAh battery that can be charged at a 35W rapid rate. According to Honor, it can stand for up to 70 days, which is quite remarkable.
