The Honor X7a launched with Helio G37 Chipset finally in India. The device made its global presence earlier in January. So, let’s take a look on what Honor has offered with the brand new X7a model along with it’s specification and pricing.

Design and Display
The Honor X7a is a slim and light phone measuring 8.27mm in size and weighing 196 grams. Despite the very slim form factor, the company was able to fit a larger 6000mAh battery here. It has a gradient finish and is available in three vibrant colors: Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.
There is a U-shaped notch on the front that looks a bit dated in 2023. The smartphone is built around a 6.7-inch LCD display that refreshes with a 90Hz refresh rate and is certified by TUV Rheinland for eye protection. By the way, this is a screen with HD+ resolution. You also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
Performance
The MediaTek MT6765H processor, which corresponds to the Helio G37 model, is responsible for everything. This is an improvement over the Snapdragon 680 SoC in Honor X7.
Storage options are limited to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The latter can be expanded by up to 1 TB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Magic UI 6.1, which is based on Android 12. Honor has not made any commitments regarding future platform or security patch updates.
Other Highlights
The Hono X7a’s camera hardware includes a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a pair of 2MP macro and depth units on the rear. There is an 8 MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
As mentioned above, the Honor X7a is powered by a 6000 mAh cell. With a battery life of up to 3.5 days, it takes first place in DXOMark’s worldwide battery ranking. In addition, Honor claims that the X7a retains 80% of its original battery capacity even after three years of use. For charging, you’ll get 22.5W charger in the box.
