Performance
The Zero 5G 2023 and Turbo versions stand out above all for their performance. The latter comes with a Dimensity 1080 SoC, while the vanilla model gets a Dimensity 920 chip. Both chips have a similar processor layout, apart from the higher clocked cores in the Dimensity 1080. Infinix has paired the chip with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage in the Turbo model, while the standard Zero 5G 2023 has 128GB of storage.
Camera
Infinix has somewhat modified the Gradient Arc camera design from the original Zero 5G from Oppo to the 2023 version. The Infinix Zero 5G’s camera bump resembles both Samsung’s Ambient Curve and the aforementioned Gradient Arc.
Regarding the hardware, Infinix increased the primary camera’s resolution to 50MP. The phone’s lack of a 13MP telephoto camera and replacement with a gimmicky 2MP micro lens is a drawback. For portrait photos, a second 2MP sensor is available. The selfie camera’s front-facing sensor has increased from 13MP to 16MP.
Other Specs
The new Infinix Zero 5G (2023)’s display characteristics have mostly kept the same. A 6.78-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is included on it. Infinix continues to use an LCD panel, thus there has been no advancement there either.
A 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging powers the Zero 5G 2023. It comes pre-installed with XOS over Android 12.
