Design & Display
The front of the tablet from OnePlus has 2.5D curved cover glass, which the firm claims is a first for this form factor. With this little curve, the transition from the glass to the bezel will be seamless and will aid in using various navigational gestures. The tablet’s stunning 11.6-inch 144Hz LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 88% screen-to-body ratio, and 6.54 mm thin bezels on all sides is another first for an Android tablet.
The OnePlus Pad will only be available when it launches in Halo Green, unlike the majority of Android tablets, which come in black or grey. The tablet will stand out from the competitors even more thanks to this distinctive color scheme.
Camera
The back of the OnePlus Pad houses a 13MP primary camera. The back camera’s built-in features include HDR mode, LED Flash, ISO adjustment, Face Recognition, and others. For seamless portraits, the front camera has an 8MP resolution.
Performance
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU, manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm fab, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 9,510mAh battery with 67W fast charging capabilities are all internal components of the OnePlus Pad. The powerful battery, according to the manufacturer, offers up to 14.5 hours of movie playback and 30 days of standby life. It takes roughly 80 minutes to charge completely to 100%. OnePlus claims to have improved the software to allow 24 apps to be open and running in the background to aid in multitasking.
The OnePlus Pad can instantly activate the mobile hotspot on your OnePlus phone and connect to it for web browsing, taking a cue from Apple. Only certain OnePlus phones running Oxygen OS 13.1 or later will be able to use the function.
