The release of affordable A-series phones from Oppo doesn’t appear to end. With a Helio G85 CPU, a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen, and other features, the company has recently introduced the Oppo A18 smartphone in the United Arab Emirates. Design and Display
The Oppo A18 and its predecessor, the Oppo A17, are identical in terms of design. A waterdrop notch screen, a plastic frame, and a glossy plastic pack are all featured in this design. Additionally, the frame is flat with gently rounded edges. This guy is available from Oppo in two colors: Glowing Blue and Glowing Black.
The display is a 6.56-inch LCD panel. This HD+ monitor features a 90Hz refresh rate with 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamut compatibility.
Performance
A Mediatek Helio G85 SoC powers the Oppo A18’s internal hardware. Six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8GHz and two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0GHz make up this 12nm fabbed silicon, which offers 4G connectivity. Here, a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU handles the graphics. The processor is combined by Oppo with 128GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage and 4GB of RAM. Similarly, ColorOS 13.1, which is based on Android 13, boots the device.
Camera
In terms of optics, the phone has a twin camera arrangement on the rear. While the secondary camera is a 2MP mono camera, the primary camera is an 8MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. A 5MP camera for selfies and video calls is located on the front.
Battery and Others
The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery that powers it. On the company website, Oppo has not mentioned the charging speed. It will probably have a 10W charging support. Additionally, there are WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and a USB Type-C port available for communication. A side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security is included in the power key.
